A Place to Live

Racine Village will include 20 housing units (a mixture of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units) which will be half market rate and half affordable and will have an elevator and rooftop garden. Property management will be led by IMAN and tenant recruitment and programming will be led cooperatively by Go Green partners. Ongoing resident programming will be designed to foster a sense of community and encourage tenants (families, entrepreneurs, artists, students) to engage in Go Green programs and activities.

Get Work Done

The Englewood Business Incubator: a 24-hour co-working space for local entrepreneurs. It’s a physical space to develop, launch, and manage new businesses, and will have programs to support early stage entrepreneurs. It will also host a 24-month membership training program for entrepreneurs—receiving extensive hands-on support from E.G. Woode and partner organizations as they prepare to launch their brick and mortar businesses. The membership will have with rates ranging from $25-$300, with varying privileges.

Pazzo’s Restaurant

Pazzo’s @ 311 (named for its downtown 311 S Wacker location) is one of Chicago’s most popular Italian restaurants and a top wedding reception venue. Pazzo’s founder, Rocky Aiyash, has a track record of successfully launching restaurants across the country. With approximately 3,700 square feet, Pazzo’s will be Englewood’s only high-quality dining with delivery, production, catering, take-out, as well as in-restaurant dining. This will help the community recapture a share of the $27 million dollar loss in restaurant expenditure.
